A Kid friendly Getaway in the Catskills Region in New York State: We stayed in Gardiner, NY at Yogi Bear Jellystone LazyRiver Par — it was only about a 2 hour drive from NYC. We visited Lake Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Mountain House and Coxing Split Rock swimming hole. It was a great way to spend some time taking in the fresh air, spend some time taking in the beauty of nature, hiking, slowing down, playing and exploring.
