Every Easter, I try to color eggs  with the girls. Last year we used tissue paper, sprayed it with water and the color transferred on beautifully onto the egg. A little messy, as the tissue paper coloring wasn’t as washable, but I would probably do it again regardless because they loved spraying the water bottle. This year we just learned about Doodle Hog NOYO crayons and were curious to play around with the smudge effect.

First, the girls doodled on their eggs.

Then, the girls smudged them with their fingers. It turned out to be more or less of a watercolor effect, minus the water. Believe it or not, the colors washed off our hands very easily.

These were the finished NOYO Crayon Colored Easter Eggs.

We created Paper Plate Easter Baskets decorated with Stickers and Construction Paper Grass ( because someone threw away all my Easter grass from Olivia’s birthday party back in January).

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter!
